Good news for those with mortgages - interest rates have been reduced again by the Bank of England to 4%. This is good for landlords with finance as it eases the financial pressure on them, and in turn it is good for tenants who saw a 7% rise in rents in NI last year. However, landlords have been subjected to other increasing costs, especially those caused by the list of new regulations coming from Gordon Lyons and the Stormont Executive, all of which have been passed onto tenants.
