HMRC have extended the deadline by which landlords must make their self-assessment returns digitial by 12 months, to April 2024. By that date, landlords will no longer be able to submit a paper return and must do it digitally. If you are one of our clients who has their property managed by us, making your property income return to HMRC is made much easier as we can provide financial year statements. Landlords can quickly transfer the figures directly onto their return, whether it be on line or on paper. For more info on this see government link here.
