Landlords who are not yet registered for self-assessment (SA) with HMRC have until 5th October this year to do so. Paper returns must be filed by 31st October or on line by 31st January next year. Payments are required by 31st Jan and 31st July next year. Even if you operate a rental through a limited company, you must also complete SA and include a director's page (SA102 employees and directors).
